If you think the most important in looking for a car is a safety factor, then you need to see the results of crash tests conducted by the European New Car Assessment Programme (NCAP).

NCAP, an institution conducting crash tests and car safety rating in Europe, on Thursday (27 / 1), announced the five best cars in terms of security for 2010 after making a series of tests of 29 vehicles.

Five types of cars that get the best rating alias won five stars for terms of security according to respective category.

Vehicle is BMW 5 series for the category of executive, Alfa Romeo Giulietta for family cars, Honda CR-Z to the category super mini car, the Kia Sportage car for the kind of small 4x4 Off-road, and Toyota Verso be the safest in the Small MPV category.


"Every year car manufacturers continue to work to create and make the vehicle better and safer for its customers," said Dr. Michiel van Ratingen, secretary general of Euro NCAP, as quoted by the Telegraph.

"The winner of five stars in each category indicates the commitment of manufacturers to develop safer vehicles,"added Van Ratingen.
